After renting an office for 12 years, we had nothing to show for it and the space was starting to feel a bit cramped. However a few years ago, we found ourselves with too much debt and not enough cash.

We didn’t have credit card debt, we paid off our car notes early, and the interest rate on the student loan was at a low 2.75%, so we thought we were doing okay. We thought credit card debt wasn’t very smart, but a car loan? The server in our office is about 10 years old and has reached capacity.

We carried no credit card debt and we contributed to our retirement. Our small business was going well and we said so long to renting office space and purchased a commercial property.
