Plastic grocery bags can be irritating and useful all at the same time. These days most grocery stores no longer offer paper sacks, and if you have forgotten your reusable bags, you are probably going to go home with anywhere from one to two dozen little plastic sacks. If you hate waste, then these bags probably drive you nuts.

Plasma Donation Earnings: $220. I donated plasma 4 times in May which is short of my goal of 8 times. I usually donate on Friday and Sunday mornings, but I was super busy in May and wasn’t able to get to the donation center. Whether you are asked to donate to charity , or whether your cousin needs a little help with his finances, we often get hung up on whether or not we have enough cash to help out. Donate items : Since my son is an only child, his clothing doesn’t get a lot of heavy use. Don’t limit yourself to the thrift stores, either.

While I like to shop at thrift stores, I have a hard time finding TALL length jeans for my 5’10 frame and I was in need of new jeans. I don’t shop there too often, because it’s not a convenient location for me, but I always stock up on their holiday store brand sale.

I pulled out clothes that I don’t wear and I’ll donate to the thrift store. I’ll talk more about this in the next Grocery Budget Challenge post.
