Boomers claim to have redefined many aspects of life – from open family dialoge to ways to influence politics, now are they redefining grandparenthood? They also took the kids (one at a time) each year and entertained them by going to tourist attractions in their area. Why are we boomers more involved? Expectations of our children.

Hair cuts were done at home by a family member. Gasoline stations did not serve food, have coffee or provide bath rooms. Most families had only one car. Entertainment. People listened to the radio, watched TV, went to the local (one screen) movie house or entertained themselves. Toni home perms were prevalent.

Talk about where the gasoline comes from and the various jobs related to producing it. Entertainment Related.
