I find lots of Christmas ribbon and bows at these sales as well – the 3 or 4 inch wide gold trimmed fabric kind of stuff for prices like 75 cents for the entire roll (which will cost you at least $10 a roll brand new). Heaven knows, not many of us lack for food or sustenance!

I've seen silicone mats priced at $14-$20 depending on the brand and size, but parchment paper is pricey too and your investment will eventually pay for itself. Instead of using aluminum foil or plastic wrap to cover casseroles and leftovers, store the food in re-usable containers. I have 4 different sizes. Cracks me up every time.
