We have some hefty financial goals this year and this is just one more way for me to squeeze more from our budget. But I also found success at a thrift store. At that time, I had not reviewed my own spring clothing and I have plenty of time to go back to Target if I can’t find something suitable (and cute) at the thrift store.

It has been my obsession goal since we found ourselves in a dicey situation back in August 2013. SO THIS WILL BE THE YEAR…YAY… WOOHOO… BUT……in order to reach our goal by the end of the year, we need to find/earn more money than we currently are able to come up with each month. Choose Thrift First.

Our goal is to NOT put our Christmas purchases on a credit card. Hopefully, that’s your goal too. Related Reading: My Honest Review: I donated plasma to earn money! I shop at thrift stores frequently and I am always amazed at how much I see with store tags still on the product. You earn money after each donation.

My monthly goal is $100. Read: My Ebates Review. We didn’t sell much, mainly because I didn’t think we were going to be home for the neighborhood yard sale this year and I took a van full of stuff to the thrift store about a month before the yard sale. I’m challenging myself to find the cash outside of our budget.

By the end of the month, my goal is to help you have a detailed financial plan for your family. I want my family to enjoy life, but we also have some pretty serious financial goals that we are trying to achieve. Thrift : I regularly stop by my favorite local thrift store and find crazy bargains. It saves us $67 a month.

Review your statements, because there might be subscriptions that you forgot about. This is an area that I also need to review.
