I’ve been an architect, day-care teacher to toddlers, and library clerk, but am currently a SAHM to a 14yo son and 9yo daughter. How did you get interested in saving money? At age 12, I started saving up my allowance and babysitting money to buy Christmas gifts for other children who were less fortunate. We love old toys!

The local library Every year my son, a book lover, signs up for the local library’s reading program. The top 50 readers are treated to a pizza and bowling party, which my son has been able to attend for the last three years. They can redeem the points for online prizes. Go Frugal'

My son had an advanced reading age quite early and the books in the classroom held no interest for him and he started to lose interest in reading.
