This past winter I cleaned out closets and drawers in my quest to minimize and downsize our stuff and donated everything to the thrift store, rather than hold on to it for the spring sale. March 2021 – I found $747. Last year I made very little money and swore I was done having yard sales. It wasn’t worth my time.

Our 17 year old Kenmore washing machine stopped spinning the end of March. April’s Thrift Store Finds. My next stop was my favorite thrift store, Community Aid. They have 50% off the entire store every Wednesday. Most companies will offer free quotes for a chance to earn your business.

While I like to shop at thrift stores, I have a hard time finding TALL length jeans for my 5’10 frame and I was in need of new jeans. At first, I thought my eyes were deceiving me, so I marched right into the DSW to see what shoes I could find around $49. I won’t need to buy jeans for a few years. $20 Yes, please!
