We spent the next few years building our savings back up to the level we had prior to 2007. As the Family Office Manager , I handle the day-to-day finances for our family and I needed a way to communicate our finances to my husband. The years leading up to the debt payoff weren’t always easy, but we are so glad we stuck with it.

The journey started in 2012 when we bought an office building for our business and then found ourselves with a lot of debt and not enough cash flow. We ran the numbers of the purchase and they looked great on paper, but paper doesn’t account for a new server, a roof leak, unexpected medical bills, and other calamities.
