My parents scrimped and saved for years to send my brother and I through state university. I ended up with a BA in Psychology with an emphasis in Industrial Psychology – and couldn’t get a good paying job of any sort after graduating! Here are some of my financial mistakes. I picked the wrong college major.

She (we will call her Susan, although that is not her name) started life as a member of an industrious lower middle class family – one sibling, two parents married to each other. After a two year marriage, she divorced and came home to live with her parents. Get Laid Off From Work. Her Dad died, and she continued to live with her Mom.
