I was so excited when I left the store, I could hardly contain myself. Then I come home and there is a package waiting for me from Target. This place was heaven!!

My husband found this jacket at a thrift store for like 2 bucks. I’m always so thrilled by my husband’s thrift store finds. I am up for one, maybe two stores, and if I don’t find something AMAZING at one of those I am ready to call it a day. It was a couple sizes too big, so for less than $20 I had it tailored.

Even before thrift shopping became the "thing" to do, I always loved going to thrift stores and seeing what great bargains I could find. I love the way it came out!

We also hit a few thrift stores, and again, I did not really find what I needed, but I got a couple things anyway. I ended up with baby pink and black Ralph Lauren oxfords and a sequined skirt from Buffalo Exchange, and a dress to match the oxfords and a pair of red cowboy boots from thrifting. I mean, shorts by themselves.

I got this dress last year for my brother’s Rehearsal Dinner and I thought it was perfect. ~ I made the key necklace of course, but I found all of the chains at a thrift store for less than 3 bucks each. I don’t recall the last time I got SO MANY compliments on my dress.
