I started reading The Frugal Girl back in 2010 when Kristen’s kids were still itty bitty. Besides dealing with my sudden unemployment when my oldest child was a toddler, I was hoping to figure out a way to extend my time at home with him. The same goes for things like clothes. I have given up on second hand kids’ clothing.

Work With What You've Got

My husband is still unemployed and I don’t really have money to spend on clothes and accessories. This is pretty much how I feel about it. So it’s going well in that I am sticking to it. This is not all that remarkable given the situation.
