In previous years, I would create a long list of financial goals, only to have little accomplished by the end of the December. I almost stopped writing goals down altogether. In 2018, we decided to focus on just 2 main financial goals and before I share my 2019 goals I thought I would give you a recap on 2018.

Did you make 2018 financial goals ? My husband and I discussed some ideas over our holiday break and we decided on 2 solid must-achieve financial goals for the year. If we complete them early, we’ll move on to 2 additional goals that are on our radar. This will take us most of the year.

My new mission was to manage our money to make sure we used it wisely and stretched it as far as possible. After 20 years, I switched from Quicken software to You Need a Budget (YNAB) software in 2018 for our household. Create our family’s financial goals and Debt Freedom Plan. Pay our bills in a timely manner.

We started using it in January 2017 and I wrote all about it, so I won’t rehash it all here. Medi-Share can be used as a substitute to satisfy the federal mandate requiring “applicable individuals” to maintain “minimum essential insurance coverage”. (At Total discount from using in network providers: $28,291.29 (27%).
