Aside from a health concern with one of my daughters , 2017 was a great year, however, I was distracted by non-necessities, so my overall theme for 2018 is to use my time more wisely on the people and things that are important to me. I’ll update you on my family’s financial goals for 2018 in another post.

My husband and I have four kids ranging from age 3-8, and I am a stay-at-home mom. Last year, to make a little extra cash, I started boarding dogs through Rover, and I am about to start a very very part time job using my RN license for a home care company. I think I started reading FG regularly in 2018 or 2019.

how to keep kitchen dish-free The most foolproof way to do this: never cook or eat at home. If you want to eat at home, though, I have bad news: you will probably always have some dishes in your kitchen. Let’s just start from the top! If no one ever eats food at your house, you will never have dirty dishes. Problem solved.

We sent them off on Monday morning and they came home Saturday afternoon. We used gift cards on 3 nights, ate leftovers on 1 night, and grilled burgers on the last night. One of the gift cards was given to us TWO years ago for Christmas. Our home was very quiet and we missed our girls terribly, but we had a wonderful week too.

Did you make 2018 financial goals ? Our 2 Main Financial Goals for 2018: 1 – Finish the will. Shame on us for dragging our feet on this for too long. We blew through our health savings account, and now need to save another $10k so we’re not caught off guard if another emergency were to happen. Restaurants.
