In 2018, we decided to focus on just 2 main financial goals and before I share my 2019 goals I thought I would give you a recap on 2018. Our 2018 Financial Goals: Finish our Will. Save $10k in a savings account, specifically earmarked for medical expenses. I almost stopped writing goals down altogether.

On the 25th of every month from January to November in 2019, I held a virtual meeting on the blog to give updates on our progress, motivate one another, and help all of us save for a cash Christmas. The club was open to anyone who wanted monthly accountability to save for a cash Christmas. It became a habit.

2018 Update. The bad news is that we were in our prime earning & investing years when we stopped contributing…just more motivation to keep going with this plan. Start Additional Savings Accounts. I’m working on a post about all of the things we did to pay off our debt. 1st Update in June 2014. It was not.
