I remember one morning my husband and I were sitting at the kitchen table contemplating if we should sell one of our cars. But in August 2013 , our business softened, renovations to our new building were more costly than planned, and we were now the owners of two mortgages: our home and our business. It was a scary time for us.

In September 2019, my husband and I accomplished our biggest financial goal in our almost 20 years of marriage. Aside from the mortgage, we also added equipment and renovation loans with the purchase, and we had a student loan. In September 2001, we bought a 1700 square foot home with a one-car garage and ONE full bathroom.
