Hello, 2020. My oldest was in eighth grade and one of my goals for 2020 was to start saving consistently for both daughters’ college education. In January of 2020, I was gung-ho about saving for college, however, I had no idea what was about to happen. My Upromise strategy will help with our goal.

Yep, I found a $20 bill on a morning run at the beach! I have used the extra money to pay off debt, fund family trips, or build up our Christmas savings. In January 2020, we booked round-trip flights to Paris for the four of us. I donated plasma 5 times in February which is short of my goal of 8 times.

Yep, I found a $20 bill last year on the beach! This money will go towards paying the actual medical bills from the injury. This money gets sent automatically to the 529 accounts we set up for our girls in 2020. I started searching and test drove a pre-owned Highlander in January 2020. Found Money in January: $1681.

We’ve had an Aflac Accident plan for many years and have never needed it until the fall of 2020 when we used it twice. Finding extra money is a game for me.

In September 2019, my husband and I accomplished our biggest financial goal in our almost 20 years of marriage. It was so big that I cried for two days straight– we paid off six figures in non-mortgage debts. After the first year, the new business debt weighed on me. Our non-mortgage loans totaled over six figures.
