Our Family Finances Update: January 2021

We received a $300 reimbursement from our Aflac supplemental policy for an injury my daughter sustained at volleyball in the fall. This money gets sent automatically to the 529 accounts we set up for our girls in 2020. I started searching and test drove a pre-owned Highlander in January 2020. Where I found money in February

Honestly, it was months in the making, but at one time, I didn’t think I would ever see the money. In January 2020, we booked round-trip flights to Paris for the four of us. My daughter outgrew the set and we put the money towards a new set for her. My total of found money in February: $3433.68. Airfare Refund: $2700.
