Unlike most people, I actually look forward to receiving my utility bills each month. I view each month’s bill – whether it be from the water company, the electric utility, or the natural gas provider – as a way to gauge how well I am doing in my efforts to both conserve energy and save money. You’d be amazed at the things people will buy. My niece goes to Goodwill and buys what I can only describe as bags of junk, and she makes a full-time income selling it on eBay. Most people are in desperate need of a good old-fashioned handyman to do everything from hanging a ceiling fan to cleaning out gutters.

I have always been able to walk through a store with my kids and they wouldn't beg or plead or ask me to buy anything for them. I will buy it for you, but you're going to have to pay me back when we get home. She counted out 5 $1 dollar bills and was ecstatic when she realized she had a dollar left. This is the first year I started a Disney/vacation savings account of $25 a week. We don’t buy many souvenirs, but do have our favorite stores. I buy a case of water right before we leave.and sometimes two. It saves us a ton of money both while we travel and at Disney. bottle when you buy it by the case.
