While I like to shop at thrift stores, I have a hard time finding TALL length jeans for my 5’10 frame and I was in need of new jeans. I don’t shop there too often, because it’s not a convenient location for me, but I always stock up on their holiday store brand sale. a small gas fireplace: $100. stuff: $40.

If you are in more of a hurry, find a thrift store instead. But, find one in a high end neighborhood, one where the store sorts through the donations to select only the best. Books and DVDs. Garage sales and thrift stores are great places to find books and DVDs.

Thrift : I regularly stop by my favorite local thrift store and find crazy bargains. I only shop on Wednesdays, when the store has a 50% off everything sale. I am very particular about brands and quality, yet I regularly find new or gently worn name brand clothing, snow gear, shoes, household stuff, and books.

Participate in local food drives and donations and involve your kids in your actions. You can make it fun for you kids by running a household scavenger hunt in which you reward you children for finding household items to donate, such as clothes, toys, books, old appliances, and canned goods.
