Our financial goals are still important to us and we want to hit them regardless of the rising prices. I have been packing my freezer with breakfast sausage, chicken, and Italian sausage–all marked down 40-50% off. Plasma Donations: $420. I earned $420 from 5 donations and a $50 bonus in the month of July.

For starters, I didn’t donate plasma this month and that is usually my biggest source of extra cash. I’m always looking for ways to save my family money to not only help us get through current higher food and gas prices but also to help us achieve our big financial goals. But in the end, $155 is still a gift.

Recently I tried something completely new to me and earned $1000 in less than 3 months by donating plasma–see the details in #14. 4 – Skip the AM drive-thru and eat breakfast at home. If you find yourself hitting the drive-thru on your way to work, start making your breakfast and brewing your coffee at home.
