While we were still renting an apartment, I researched areas with lower property taxes, scouted out my ideal neighborhoods, and waited for a smaller, less expensive house to come on the market. The same goes for things like clothes. If they‘d still fit, I’d be content to continue to wear my clothes from the early 2000s.
