In 2015, the monthly challenge will be Choose Thrift First. While I love thrift stores, I can be easily swayed to run into Target or Kohl’s when I’m in that part of town. I’ve put a band-aid on the situation by using plastic tubs for her clothes and a plastic drawer unit for her socks and underwear.

Also, I tend to keep pieces for a long time, as I learned years ago that buying quality clothing lasts much longer than fast fashion. Since November is always a big month for sales and coupons and the beginning of the cold season, I do most of my winter clothing shopping during this month. for the TOMS shoes and stocking stuffers.
