What’s the “why” behind your money-saving efforts? We rented at first, but the rental situation in our new town was poor. Nine years later, the rent for similar homes in our neighborhood is double the cost of our mortgage! After I became a mother, finances became much more complicated. Childhood joy.

By paying college tuition at the state university with a cash back rewards credit card (and then paying the balance off before any interest charges came due!!), Rent Don’t Buy. If your child is wanting to take music lessons, think about renting the instrument instead of buying. Buy don’t rent. Get Rewarded.

So I would suggest using this method until you have your spending habits under control, and then you can go back to the credit cards. Download Cash Back Apps Remember when I said you were going to need your credit cards at some point? What I do is use my credit cards in conjunction with cash back apps. That is money saved.

Rent and Borrow Items Instead of having gowns sewn for your bridesmaids, rent them instead. Forego the Limo Limousines can be expensive so instead of adhering to the norm, rent a luxury vehicle instead, such as a Cadillac. Do you have any money saving tips?
