When my husband hung a smart TV in the sunroom back in April, we started spending more time in the room–even our teenage daughters started hanging out with us. Once again, GIANT of PA offered a chicken dinner with 3 sides and rolls for only 350 gas points. The value of the meal is $18, but the cash value of the 350 gas points for my vehicle is about $5.95–a great price for a dinner that I don’t have to cook! In July, $98 was transferred to each daughter’s 529 accounts.

And all have each color but not plain blue or green, etc… I told my daughter’s teacher that the teacher needs to deal with it as I don’t have the funds right now to get the right notebooks. I bought my daughter’s last year at Justice. Now if the zipper bags go on sale for under a buck (and they do !)

What We Ate this Week: Monday: We went out for dinner to celebrate my oldest daughter’s 11th birthday. I’ve been watching my email for their sales and when I got one that promoted winter coats up to 45% off, I jumped. My older daughter got a new coat, hat, and gloves. Our mission: Live WELL, On LESS Money.

We plan on participating in our neighborhood''s yard sale next month to raise our vacation funds. We told our daughters that they could set up a lemonade stand at the yard sale to earn their spending money. Also, by planning ahead I can take advantage of sales. Detergent is much cheaper when bought at home on sale.

Gas = $350. tanks of gas for us to get to my sisters (we’ve made this trip 20+ times). My daughter will need her car while working at Disney, so we’ll be driving two cars on the way down. Based on current gas prices, it will cost appx. I’ve already cashed out for $200 in FREE gas cards, so that leaves appx.
