The guy that I was dating at the time & I had come to a point in our relationship where we were planning for our future and a marriage. Cook meals ahead of time and freeze or prepare extra to freeze so late days don’t turn into excuses to blow the budget on dining out. What are your financial goals now?

We agree on what happens to our extra cash and discuss weekly our goals for saving and investing as well as any big ticket purchases on the horizon. Kelvin came along (using airline points) and we lived it up in Vegas for 6 days and drove over to LA to see friends for a day. What are your financial goals now?

At one point towards the end of our 33 month journey, we were paying 5 times our mortgage (over $5,000) towards our house. Dine out on a budget – We used a coupon for 98% of our dining out experiences. I LOVE dining out, so this is what allowed us to enjoy that, but not spend a lot of money.
