Recognize the base of my dining table? Anyway, after priming the nightstand, I applied the pink paint which, yes, looks very white. When I paint furniture in a light color, I often have to use caulk to fill in some gaps; the light color makes them rather unsightly. You know the next step: priming. Yes, yes she did.

It was painted by an artist that goes by @jacselah (I think this is actually their name) and they have a better picture of it on their Instagram. I dined at Park on Fremont - just steps from the Fremont Street Experience - and was pulled in by the colors of this bike with the restaurant sign and the textures of the wall.

We had a dining room now, which we didn’t have in our tiny little apartment, so our pub style table and chairs looked small and awkward in the space. Since there were four chairs and only three fit at the island, we repurposed the fourth chair by painting it and using it as a decoration in our spare bedroom.

So I converted a corner of our dining room into my own corner office. I''m not pleased that I''ve taken over my dining room (and neither is my husband), but it''s definitely more convenient for me than the basement. Never fear, with a little spray paint, my husband took care of that for me. That''s hard to do from the basement.

My condo wing back recliner was my first attempt at something more complex than recovering the bottoms of dining room chairs. The toy ice cream table and chairs from my Mom’s childhood have an iron frame, which I stripped and spray painted. It had way too many coats of paint on it to ever be pretty again otherwise.
