Because we were spending so much money on appliances, we bought an extended warranty. After a few weeks, I received a gift card from the big box store for the amount of the fridge. The current price to replace the fridge is about $2800, $1100 more than we paid for our current one. Where We Found Extra Money in June: $470.95.

My found money in August was made up of a lot of little amounts and unfortunately, was not as high as in previous months. For starters, I didn’t donate plasma this month and that is usually my biggest source of extra cash. But in the end, $155 is still a gift. Show me the money! My Frugal Shenanigans!

To re-gift or not re-gift? I am all about giving the right gift to the right person but sometimes things don’t work out as you envision! I keep a closet in the garage with gifts that I wasn’t so into. I always make sure to mark on a post it who gave me the gift and tape it right to the gift.
