While I like to shop at thrift stores, I have a hard time finding TALL length jeans for my 5’10 frame and I was in need of new jeans. My favorite pair had a hole in an unseemly place and my other favorite pair came with holes, and neither is appropriate for work. We decided to donate the turkey to the food bank.

I pulled out clothes that I don’t wear and I’ll donate to the thrift store. Projects that I’m working on: The bathroom linen closet. In the first 3 weeks of 2014, I have made some decluttering progress. I reorganized my bedroom closet and dresser. I reorganized years worth of photos that were in boxes.

I was just working on it yesterday as I was making some notes of gift ideas for my kids. I shop at thrift stores frequently and I am always amazed at how much I see with store tags still on the product. Many stores will at least give you a store credit if you don’t have your receipt.

Take them to work in your brown bag lunch, or choose one night a week as, “raid the fridge night” You’ll appreciate the night off from cooking.
