Last year our hot water heater stopped working. I referred to our home ownership binder to find the information and when I called the company they informed me that our hot water heater was still under a warranty and our only expense was the labor involved. Family room/foyer/half bath. Water heater/reverse osmosis.

Roast one up now for your family and freeze leftovers for future meals. As I mentioned in previous Frugal Fridays , our main heat source (gas fireplace) was out of commission for several weeks. But lows next week are going to be in the 20’s at night, so our heater has been fixed just in time! Home Brewed Ice Tea.

It was the trip of a lifetime with our extended family (two sons, their spouses and two of our grandchildren). Each family charted their own way out, in their own vehicles but we stayed together loosely in the park. We had two family dinners, one at Old Faithful Inn and one at Lake Yellowstone.

Saturday: I’m hosting a dinner party for extended family to celebrate the numerous November birthdays. However, we use a ventless gas fireplace in a corner of the living room as our main source of heat. We had blankets piled high and I turned on the baseboard heaters in two bedrooms to warm up the second floor.
