I work full time in IT and my wife works part time in retail. After trying to extend credit to finance the vacation and we were denied (best thing to ever happen to us) we realized we made too much money to be living like this and something had to change. What are your financial goals now?

Along our part-time business my husband is a senior web designer for Ramsey Solutions aka Dave Ramsey. We live a pretty busy lives and when given free weekends at home we love spending time at home on our little farm. If married, who initiated the debt free goal? Keeps us aligned together with our finances.

Drew works full time for Department of Defense. Farrah works part time for Department of Defense. Who handles the day-to-day finances in your home or do you work on it equally? How often do you and your spouse discuss your finances/budget/spending? Equally, but Drew does the data part. We have a family of 4.

Although my parents never specifically taught me about finances, they lived a frugal life by necessity. Our mom stayed home to raise us kids; she went to work part-time in the local school system after both my brother and I were in school. The easiest part of being frugal is everything else. In September 2019, my husband and I accomplished our biggest financial goal in our almost 20 years of marriage.
