In 2018, we decided to focus on just 2 main financial goals and before I share my 2019 goals I thought I would give you a recap on 2018. Save $10k in a savings account, specifically earmarked for medical expenses. This should have been done as soon as we became parents back in 2005, but we kept putting it off.

The new monthly payment would have left us ‘insurance poor’ On top of that bombshell discovery, we realized the insurance plans that were being offered to us were NOT compatible with a health savings account, a tax deductible savings vehicle offered to those with high deductible health plans.
