In the past, I made my meal plan and grocery shopped on Sundays. Five dollars divided by 180 times = 3 cents per dishwasher use AND I have a lot leftover in the box. Thrifty Finds in February: I try to hit up my favorite thrift store at least once a month. I keep a list of things to look when thrifting.

Use reusable containers with lids rather than plastic wrap and aluminum foil to store leftovers. Eat those leftovers! I have a good friend who hates leftovers and throws any away after a meal. By eating your leftovers, you are saving money and avoiding the land fills. Choose thrift first. That’s crazy!
