Today, I am going to share with you 8 ways you can recycle, reduce, and reuse. Concentrated products often require less packaging, resulting in less energy to transport it to the store and less plastic to recycle. Reuse what you can. We also save containers from items and reuse them for storage at a later time.

You can even save a few plastic grocery bags and reuse them at your local farmer’s market or grocery store. Many times, people use trash bags to transport used clothing, but grocery bags will work as well. Recycle If none of these circumstances apply to you, you can always recycle your grocery bags.

The old phrase “reduce, reuse, recycle” is crucial when it comes to small, and inexpensive, ways of going green. For example, rather than purchase water in plastic bottles, invest in a faucet-mount water filter that retails for less than $40 and reuse glass juice and milk bottles. Start Small. Larger Changes.

I've tried multiple brands, but I really like Bite , because they work much better than others, taste better, and come in glass bottles that can be recycled or reused. I don't want to find that all my makeup melted off halfway through a 12-hour bout of sightseeing where I'm taking public transport.

Do they recycle? Do they use recycled products? This saves on packaging as well as transportation because larger amounts can be shipped in one load. Plus by buying local, you are cutting down on the carbon emissions produced by food transportation. Recycle, recycle, recycle. Buy in bulk. Pass it on.

Use recycled toilet pape r. By switching to recycled toilet paper you can help save 1 million trees a year and 1.35 They can be thrown in the wash and reused again for next time. If that doesn’t work, use public transportation. Recycle and reuse. billion litres of water. They even dust well.

Reduce your dependence on fossil fuels by driving less and using public transport or walking; reduce your energy consumption by turning off lights to empty rooms and appliances at the wall; choose energy-efficient appliances and alternative power sources; change to CFL light bulbs. It’s easier to go out a buy a new one, right?
