Did you make 2018 financial goals ? My husband and I discussed some ideas over our holiday break and we decided on 2 solid must-achieve financial goals for the year. If we complete them early, we’ll move on to 2 additional goals that are on our radar. Our 2 Main Financial Goals for 2018: 1 – Finish the will.

ALSO our 2019 Financial Goal!). We’ve been working since 2013 to pay off a boat load of non-mortgage debt. I feel like I made a lot of trips to the thrift store to donate our stuff, but my house will tell you otherwise. This is a work in progress and I feel it will always by my goal. We knocked this out of the park.

It has been my obsession goal since we found ourselves in a dicey situation back in August 2013. Between 2013 – 2015, we whittled that down and as of today we have just two loans left. Fortunately, I’ve never met a goal I couldn’t handle. Choose Thrift First. 2016 will be THE year.

We need to find/earn even more money each month to throw at the debt to make our goal by December 31, 2016. Our goal is to NOT put our Christmas purchases on a credit card. Hopefully, that’s your goal too. Back in 2013, I had a year-long series, Christmas Savings Club , to encourage everyone to set aside money each month for the holidays. But that store credit is much better than sending it to the thrift store as a donation.
