2018 Update. Our 2019 Financial Goal. Happy New Year’s 2019: In January 2019, we were down to one final non-mortgage loan, so we created just one financial goal for the year—-to pay off that last non-mortgage debt by December. We can now move on to other financial goals.

My Word for 2019

Family Balance Sheet

Our main financial goal is to pay off our last non-mortgage loan. It was a goal in 2018, but high medical bills and other financial challenges hindered our progress. I spent most of the holidays baking cookies, eating cookies that others gave us, and dreaming of cookies that I’d like to try.

Medi-Share Update: One Year Later

She’s a very active kid, and missed swim practice and meets, her holiday band and choral concert, Girl Scout meetings, and holiday parties. Our main financial goal for 2018 is to save $10k for our Annual Household Portion with Medi-Share. She missed the last 11 days of school right before the Christmas break.
