Aside from a health concern with one of my daughters , 2017 was a great year, however, I was distracted by non-necessities, so my overall theme for 2018 is to use my time more wisely on the people and things that are important to me. Did you make 2018 financial goals ? My husband and I discussed some ideas over our holiday break and we decided on 2 solid must-achieve financial goals for the year. If we complete them early, we’ll move on to 2 additional goals that are on our radar. The Guidelines for 2018: 1. Restaurants.

To ease my anxiety about our new loans, we took the Financial Peace University home course and it changed how we thought about debt. 2018 Update. Our 2019 Financial Goal. We can now move on to other financial goals. 1 – Save a starter Home Emergency Fund. 1st Update in June 2014.

We sent them off on Monday morning and they came home Saturday afternoon. Our home was very quiet and we missed our girls terribly, but we had a wonderful week too. I love yard sales, but need to be mindful that I don’t bring a bunch of other people’s junk into our home. A yard salin’ we will go!

Our main financial goal is to pay off our last non-mortgage loan. It was a goal in 2018, but high medical bills and other financial challenges hindered our progress. Back in December, I read the book, Zero Waste Home: The Ultimate Guide to Simplifying Your Life by Reducing Your Waste. It was a good day!!

At that time, I couldn’t cash flow the office budget, home budget, our loans, and retirement savings. He went back to school at the age of 34 to pursue a new career and has not regretted it, but his student loan was about the size of a small home mortgage when he graduated in 2000. Our extra funds went towards our cash flow.
