In previous years, I would create a long list of financial goals, only to have little accomplished by the end of the December. I almost stopped writing goals down altogether. In 2018, we decided to focus on just 2 main financial goals and before I share my 2019 goals I thought I would give you a recap on 2018.

My goals are completely attainable, but they will still stretch me t o be more intentional with my time. Aside from a health concern with one of my daughters , 2017 was a great year, however, I was distracted by non-necessities, so my overall theme for 2018 is to use my time more wisely on the people and things that are important to me.

My Word for 2019

Family Balance Sheet

Our main financial goal is to pay off our last non-mortgage loan. It was a goal in 2018, but high medical bills and other financial challenges hindered our progress. I recently just put a 30 minute screen limit on my phone for social media and hopefully that will help me reduce my time spent on a daily basis.

Medi-Share Update: One Year Later

Our main financial goal for 2018 is to save $10k for our Annual Household Portion with Medi-Share. They also prayed over our family while on the phone, which was quite comforting. We had high deductible health plans from 2004 – 2016 and contributed many years to a health savings account.
