Did you make 2018 financial goals ? My husband and I discussed some ideas over our holiday break and we decided on 2 solid must-achieve financial goals for the year. If we complete them early, we’ll move on to 2 additional goals that are on our radar. We’d like to start saving for it in 2018, if possible.

My husband and I have four kids ranging from age 3-8, and I am a stay-at-home mom. I think I started reading FG regularly in 2018 or 2019. What’s the “why” behind your money-saving efforts? Within reason, we like to give our kids a nice Christmas with presents they enjoy. homemade bagels!

My monthly savings goal was $100. This should cover my tentative 2019 Christmas budget that I based on what we spent in 2018. Last year, a friend of mine on Facebook shared that she saves $1 bills that have Federal Reserve letters that match the first letter of her kids’ names.
