In 2018, we decided to focus on just 2 main financial goals and before I share my 2019 goals I thought I would give you a recap on 2018. Our 2018 Financial Goals: Finish our Will. Save $10k in a savings account, specifically earmarked for medical expenses. I almost stopped writing goals down altogether.

I spent the next two hours on the phone with the doctors and with Medi-Share. As of today, we plan to renew with Medi-Share for 2018. However, due to depleting the $10k we had set aside, we must now build our savings for future medical bills. We have yet to decide if we will lower our Annual Household Portion to $7,500.

We had high deductible health plans from 2004 – 2016 and contributed many years to a health savings account. We used those funds to pay for our medical bills in 2017 and that account is now depleted and closed. Our main financial goal for 2018 is to save $10k for our Annual Household Portion with Medi-Share.
