On Christmas day, my husband and I spent 4 hours together traveling in a car to visit his family. Increase Family Emergency Fund to Six Months Salary. Start a Car Replacement Savings Account. Four hours of uninterrupted time is a luxury, so we took advantage of it. This might take us 2 years to achieve.

I was a few blocks from a dealership, and in my panic I drove in there and just left it in the service bay (but not before the salesmen tried to sell me a new car). Bad, bad, bad.
