One of our FAVORITE ways to save on food is by ordering kids’ meals! It was then the light bulb went off in my head and I remembered one of my favorite tips for saving money at Disney World : purchasing kids’ meals! Plus, most of the kid and adult meals at Disney come with a side/dessert and a drink. Just kidding.

Being his future stepmom and not his mother is tough at times like these! I definitely know Noah well but I also know that kids just want their moms when they’re sick! The first time he was sick when he was at our house I thought back to what made me happier when I was sick and I put those ideas to use.

I read this book around the same time that I became a mother and left the full-time workforce to stay at home with our new baby. Most are now set up on automatic billing which almost makes this a non-issue, but early on when I mailed actual checks, paying bills on time was a top priority. Project short-term cash needs.

My niece goes to Goodwill and buys what I can only describe as bags of junk, and she makes a full-time income selling it on eBay. Have you got kids? Back then, I think they were around six cents a package, and I could feed both my kids for less than fifty cents. You’d be amazed at the things people will buy.
