It is so easy to accumulate stuff and sometimes so hard to get rid of it (sell it, give it away or even throw it away). Wouldn’t it be great if everyone who will give you a holiday gift this year could just find exactly what you want or need! Even more importantly, should you nudge people to give you want you really want or need?

If you are growing short, you may decide not to stop at Dairy Queen to buy a round of ice creams for the team – if you have to part with cold hard cash. If you pay with bills, no one will know what you are buying. There are some businesses, according to BankRate , that encourage use of cash and which give a discount if you pay with it.

I ended up with a BA in Psychology with an emphasis in Industrial Psychology – and couldn’t get a good paying job of any sort after graduating! My Dad offered my spouse and I the opportunity to buy his starter home (which he had converted to a rental) at a very attractive price. I refused to accept offered help.
