One of the things many of you may or may not know about me is that my entire university education has been acquired while working full time. When I was allotted TV time, I didn’t use it to watch the standard children’s shows. Assess Your Time. Make sure you can fit both full time work and study into your life.

A few years back, I hit my all-time high by borrowing 126 books over the course of one year. Although my parents never specifically taught me about finances, they lived a frugal life by necessity. He says we were busy building the house and our careers and it was money well spent because it freed up our time.

I wrote a test for my course and did good on it so that has taken some heat off. I have another test next week and then a final and the course is done. Gosh time flies. I think that is pretty good with working full time and studying. Hope this past week has treated you well. If I finish with a B I will be happy.

We knew that I would likely not be working full time much longer as we wanted to start a family, so we chose a house that was in a low price range and got a 15-year mortgage. Shortly after that, my brand new husband and I took a financial course (by the famous D.R., What’s your best frugal win? for anyone curious ? )
