Aside from a health concern with one of my daughters , 2017 was a great year, however, I was distracted by non-necessities, so my overall theme for 2018 is to use my time more wisely on the people and things that are important to me. I’ll update you on my family’s financial goals for 2018 in another post.

Here’s a peek at what’s going on with me, my family, and our life since my last Chit Chat. . Camping Trip #2: I really wanted to try a new camp ground for our August camping trip, but my family LOVED our trip last year to Watkins Glen KOA , so back to New York we went. That didn’t deter my family from jumping in.

Chapter 17 in this book is titled, “Why not run the family office?” In highly affluent circles, a family office is a private wealth management firm that manages the finances and investments for the ultra-wealthy and their families. Hmmm, I wonder if the Kennedys have a family office? Project short-term cash needs.

January 2021 was a month of extremes in my family’s finances. We’re converting our basement to a family room area and the original family room (in the pic above) is becoming a home office. I said goodbye to mini-van life in January when we traded in our 2007 Honda Odyssey for a 2018 Toyota Highlander.

My husband and I have four kids ranging from age 3-8, and I am a stay-at-home mom. Our family lives on a ten-acre homestead property in the Mid-Atlantic region which we bought in early 2022. I think I started reading FG regularly in 2018 or 2019. Within reason, we like to give our kids a nice Christmas with presents they enjoy.

On Broadway, she composed music and lyrics for Waitress , and stepped into the lead role in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021. Harris’ Luna shined through her blended family of 12 with her dance moves, sense of style and quick wit.
