Did you make 2023 financial goals ? We decided on one big audacious financial goal for the year, and it’s a doozy! The last time we wrote numbers-driven financial goals was 2019. But after that, our goals were not as specific. Travel We work hard and really enjoy our time away.

In previous years, I would create a long list of financial goals, only to have little accomplished by the end of the December. I almost stopped writing goals down altogether. In 2018, we decided to focus on just 2 main financial goals and before I share my 2019 goals I thought I would give you a recap on 2018.

Finally, we are able to see the light at the end of the tunnel and are more motivated than ever to pay off these final two loans. We will continue to save for travel and it is already part of our budget. I created a debt countdown goal sheet in excel to keep us motivated and have a constant reminder our our goal.

Did you make 2018 financial goals ? My husband and I discussed some ideas over our holiday break and we decided on 2 solid must-achieve financial goals for the year. If we complete them early, we’ll move on to 2 additional goals that are on our radar. What are your financial goals for 2018 and beyond?

This year, we took a long break over the holidays to travel to see friends and family, so today has been a shock to my system. We have new financial goals for this year. While we made considerable headway in 2015 with reducing our debts, we missed our goal of paying off a loan by the end of the year.

Our 2019 Financial Goal. Happy New Year’s 2019: In January 2019, we were down to one final non-mortgage loan, so we created just one financial goal for the year—-to pay off that last non-mortgage debt by December. We can now move on to other financial goals. 1st Update in June 2014. 2018 Update.
