They fit nicely into ice chests and won’t break. We tear down big boxes and lay them on the garage floor in case of oil leaks. We don’t re-use for food if they contained toxic or very greasy items though. Plastic one gallon ice cream tubs (we love ice cream) make great containers to carry food to picnics or gatherings.

We were finally able to fit 2 cars in the garage with the Rio! There was a ton of leg room and my (ahem) larger husband had no problems fitting in the car. That being said, it’s not a slow car by any means! It is ultra compact looking from the outside but surprisingly deceptive in its looks.
