I planted some green onion ends I saved the root ends of two green onions that were in my veggie drawer, let them sit in water for a day or two, and then stuck them in the dirt in one of my outside pots, where they will grow new green onion tops. The homemade crackers,though? I disposed of that idea after giving it multiple tries.

I also put quite a bit in the freezer for later use and made ham stock from the bone for homemade ham and bean soup. I planted parsley last year and forgot about it after the growing season was over. When I went out to start cleaning my garden to prepare for this year, I found a beautiful parsley plant. More frugal shenanigans!
