My husband is an extremely hard worker as he works and goes to school full time. Renting, not having super nice furniture or cars, having mismatched dishes and bedding. Baby furniture, BBQ pits, tools, guns… EVERYTHING. As well as me starting up my education full time and completing that.

For myself, what didn’t get done before lunch just didn’t get done, when I was home full time. Pick your most energetic and productive time of day for household chores and you will get much more done in a given time. You will get rid of so much angst by refusing to enter into a cleaning frenzy war.

Yard sales are great, especially if you have a lot of stuff that you just want to get rid of, but if you have fewer yet more expensive items – electronics, furniture, etc – than selling through an online marketplace like eBay, Amazon or Craigslist may be a better option. I can’t think of a time in my adult life when I haven’t been fully immersed in a full-time job or career, while also making income on the side. My first side hustle was a part-time job at the local mall where I held my full-time day job. She offered me a few hours a week, and I accepted on the spot.
