When you can reuse or re-purpose an item, you are not only saving it from the landfills, but you are also saving the expense and energy which would have been expended when you recycle.

Even when I do more than usual, I still don't use too many products. I rounded up all the things I normally use at home. These are all full sizes and I chose the three eyeshadow palettes I use most often, sometimes I mix and match. I've also included what I use for my hair and my eyecare.

According to the organization Waste Free Lunches , the average school-age child eating lunches in disposable packaging generates some 67 pounds of waste per school year. Just stop using disposables. Everything in that lunch bag can be washed and reused or at least an be dealt with in an environmentally-friendly manner.
