What We Ate Saturday I ate dinner with a friend, and Zoe had leftover pizza when she got back from work. Sunday This was the day my foot was the worst, so we had an easy dinner of Aldi cheese tortellini, Aldi tomato sauce, and basil from my plant. Tuesday Leftover chicken in a sandwich form for me, ramen for Zoe after her work shift.

It’s wild to look at the blackberry leaves and think that just a few months ago, I was picking berries off of these plants. Friday I have an evening lab, but there are leftovers here so that’s probably what Zoe will eat after work. I’m just happy! This week, I spent: $25 at Safeway $45 on a Dinnerly box So, $70.

I planted parsley last year and forgot about it after the growing season was over. When I went out to start cleaning my garden to prepare for this year, I found a beautiful parsley plant.

Noone ate the leftover corn, so I cut it off the cob and put it in the freezer to add to our favorite, Chicken, Black Bean & Corn Tacos | Slow Cooker Recipe. Use reusable containers with lids rather than plastic wrap and aluminum foil to store leftovers. Trap rain water and use to water your plants and garden. Choose drought tolerant plants for your landscape. Eat those leftovers! I have a good friend who hates leftovers and throws any away after a meal.
